Averbo Risk Solutions (Belgium) and Willis (London, UK) have combined their know-how of the London and Continental offshore and renewable energy construction markets to assist C-Power with the placement of its insurance package.

CEAR – Construction/Erection All risks

C-Power concluded an all risks construction and installation policy with leading insurers Delta Lloyd, Codan, CNA and AGCS. The insurance package offers a comprehensive coverage for physical loss or damage to property on an "All Risks" basis, i.e. the policy insures against damage to property in the course of construction by all sudden, accidental and unforeseen causes other than specified excluded perils.

LIABILITY

During the construction phase Third Party Liability is insured by Zurich (UK) and Chartis (excess liability).
Chartis also acts as liability insurer during the operational phase.

OPERATIONAL

Delta Lloyd currently acts as C-Power’s phase 1 operational insurer. The insurance is on “all risks” basis and provides cover for both “physical damage” and “business interruption”.

PI

A P I design and built insurance policy has been taken out with HDI Gerling through Independent Risk Solutions/BWS. This insurance covers the liability of the insured’s in connection with all their professional activities and/or professional duties in respect of the realization of the project.
