• C-Power makes a very valuable contribution to the European and Belgian environmental objectives concerning renewable energy and the reduction of the CO2 emission. C-Power contributes 10% of the renewable energy capacity needed for Belgium to meet its 2020 objective.

• The Thornton Bank Wind Farm will be built in 3 phases – phase 1 with 6 x 5 MW turbines and phase 2 & 3 with together 48 x 6,15 MW turbines – and will be fully operational mid-2013.

• The capacity of the completed wind farm will be 325,2 MW, enough to provide power to 600.000 inhabitants.
