CAPACITY PER TURBINE

8440 running hours/year (97%)

3300 full operational hours/year

According to calculations by C-Power, based on over 1.2 million historic wind measurements on the coast since 1986, the wind turbines will run for 8440 hours per year, which is 96% of the time.

The number of hours when the wind turbines are running at full power (full operational hours) has been calculated to be approximately 3300 hrs/year.
PARC CAPACITY

(5MW*6*3300h)+(6,15MW*48*3300h)˜ 1TWh

6% of the Belgian domestic consumption

The wind turbine park consisting of 54 turbines with an installed capacity of:

Phase1: 6*5MW, Phase2: 24*6,15MW and Phase3: 24*6,15MW

consequently has an expected power generation capacity of:

5MW*6*3300h + 6,15MW*48*3300h or 1 TWh.

The expected annual capacity thus matches the total renewable energy obligation (6%) of the total Belgian residential consumption.
