EC directives
In accordance with the Kyoto agreement and the world climate conferences, a European Directive (2001/77/EC) was issued on 27 September 2001.
Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources amends and subsequently repeals the former Directives 2001/77/EC and 2003/30/EC
European Energy Programme for Recovery (EEPR)
Regulation (EC) n°663/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009 establishing a programme to aid economic recovery by granting Community financial assitstance to projects in the field of energy such as energy interconnections, offshore wind energy and carbon capture and storage. This programme is called the European Energy Programme for Recovery (EEPR).
