THE WIND TURBINE CONFIGURATION WITHIN THE LAND AREA CONCESSION

The layout configuration consists of 60 wind turbines with a rotor diameter of 126 metres.
To optimise yield, it is necessary to:

  • use the space as intensively as possible and
  • maintain a minimum distance between rotors of five to seven times the rotor diameter

The 60 wind turbines are developed to the East (6 x 6 = 36) and to the West (6 x 4 = 24) of the Interconnector Gas Pipe and the Concerto South 1 telecommunications cable.
